Welcome to the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival an iconic outdoor event that just celebrated its 50th year of celebrating arts, crafts, food and music in historic downtown Kirksville, Missouri. The festival coincides with Family Weekend at Truman State University which brings thousands of visitors from around the country. Our festival attracts talented and respected fine artists and crafters from throughout the Midwest.
Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival is a juried event. Exhibitors are selected based on standards of excellence. Final acceptance of an exhibitor will be determined by Kirksville Arts Association.
Work must be ORIGINAL work created by the artist or crafter. All work must be handcrafted or enhanced creatively or artistically by the exhibitor. Work made by others or items purchased for resale will be removed by the Kirksville Arts Association. Commercially produced items will NOT be accepted.
Awards will be presented for "Best of Show", "First Place Arts", "First Place Crafts", "Honorable Mention Arts or Crafts and "Outstanding First Time Exhibitor". Awards will be based on uniqueness, originality, quality of work and booth presentation.
Free public parking lots are located one block from the square. A designated handicapped drop-off and pick-up area is available at the Information Booth located at the corner of Franklin and Washington streets. Kirksville City Police and Sheriff's Department are present during the event.
Hotel reservations should be made well in advance due to this event being held during Truman State University's Family Weekend.

Exhibitor spaces are approximately 15 ft. along the curb and 10 ft. deep. Exhibitors will be notified of their booth assignment prior to the festival.
Applications are due by September 5, 2025, applications received after that date shall be subject to a higher application fee. No applications will be accepted after September 12, 2025. Applications will be reviewed in the order received. Acceptance letters will be mailed approximately one week after the jury date. Applicants who are not accepted will have their booth fee returned.
Send two checks or money orders payable to Kirksville Arts Association with the application form.
No refunds may be given due to cancellation by the exhibitor. Frist time applicants requiring two booths should contact the Kirksville Arts Association. Students should contact the Kirksville Arts Association prior to submitting their application.
Only one exhibitor/business per booth.

2:00 PM - Awards Presented
4:00 PM - Festival Closes.

All vendors must comply with Missouri state and county public health regulations governing the preparation, handling, and presentation of food. Vendors selling prepared foods are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and/or permits. KAA will not provide ice.
